Q.   How much can I expect to spend on my custom session and boutique products?

 My Clients spend between $400 to $1200 on their custom portrait experience.


Q.  How long in advance should I book a session with TSP?

I book weeks and sometimes months in advance and it is never too early to sign up for a session ~ especially for newborns. Please be sure to book at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability on your desired date. I shoot a maximum of 4 sessions per month.


Q.  Do you do weddings?

I love to shoot couples in love and engagement sessions but I do not currently shoot weddings.


Q.   Where do the sessions take place?

Your personal portrait session will take place in my cozy studio. I have everything you will need for your session so all you have to is relax and enjoy the experience! I do offer outdoor maternity and family sessions during the warmer months.


Q.   How long is a session?

Portrait sessions take around 1.5 hours. This allows you to relax into the session and for us to try out different locations and looks. I always make myself available for a longer session whenever children are involved to allow for scheduled snack and bathroom breaks. Newborn sessions typically last between 2-4 hours to accommodate for feedings, diaper changes and comforting.


Q.   What photographic gear do you use?

I shoot with my much-loved Nikon d600 as well as my Nikon d7000 and a variety of Nikon lenses. I have in-studio strobe lighting so that I can get a variety of looks from dramatic, moody black and white to natural light and airy portraits. 


Q.   What happens afterward?

Beautiful images require professional editing which takes time. Each image is individually colour corrected, cropped and enhanced to make it a stand-alone art piece. Some images will call out to the artist in me and will have additional editing done to bring it to another level. These are my signature pieces and will be offered as optional images for purchase.


Q.  What is the Viewing & Ordering Session and when does it usually take place?

We will book your Viewing and Ordering Session at the same time as your Photo Session, typically about a week to ten days later. This is where you will get to view your much-awaited images, pick out your favourites and look through the Product Guide to place your final order. This is where we will work together to finalize your wall galleries and other keepsake items. There will be no 'hard sell' ~ I let the images and products sell themselves! Please note that full payment is required at the ordering appointment to begin the ordering process.


Q.   What can I buy?

I specialize in custom wall art in the form of Fine Art Prints, Boutique Framed Mounted Prints and Gallery-Wrapped Canvases. I also offer stunning Folio Boxes with Matted Prints , a beautiful variety of Customized Artistry Greeting / Announcement cards, Keepsake Boxes, Mini Accordion Books, Albums, Photographic Jewelry and Gift Prints. Q.   Can I order the digital files of my images?

Yes! Although every print and/or product purchased will include the small, web-ready digital file versions with my watermark for you to share, high-resolution images are available for purchase. This option is perfect if you prefer to fulfil your own print orders, create your own art or just to have them for safe, archival purposes.


Q.   Can you recommend a print lab for my photographs?

Yes!  I have a few recommendations for printing your own images and I include them with every USB of images that is purchased. I highly suggest using my recommendations or other, professional print labs to ensure the highest quality prints.


Q.   When do I receive my ordered images/products?

You will receive your images and products approximately 4 weeks after placing your order at the ordering appointment.
